By the time I got to Croatia I was SO ready to be by the water. And take a look at this water!!!! Although the first few photo's were taken at Plitvice Lakes national park and it is forbidden to go swimming there... what a tease!!! Where you can go swimming and I definitely suggest is Krka national park where the waterfalls are... heaven on Earth I tell you. Expect approx 1 million tourists but just try to find your own little possy and it's fine. I did a sail Croatia trip around the island's which was something out of a magazine. Sleeping, eating, drinking, touring islands and jumping off a boat into turquoise water is how I imagined a summer Euro trip to be... and it was. Hot tip.... if you're there in summer make sure you get a room with air-con. I didn't have air con and I actually didn't know it was humanely possible to be so sweaty and i'm from QLD!
