SPAIN

SPAIN = FOOD. Good food in abundance. I like food so I liked Spain.. amongst other reasons I promise. In Spain I did Barcelona & San Sebastian. Barcelona actually reminded me of Melbourne - never thought I would have thought that. Went to the best food market called La Boqueria off the main street La Rambla and got served up squid ink paella... my lord so good!!!!! Also went to a super cool tapas bar that was not soo touristy called Bormouth (get the fresh Salmon cubes dish!!!). San Seb was the small beach town refresher I needed. You could almost walk around most of the place in one day. So it was nice to not feel overwhelmed and relax a bit. Walking around the old town and stopping in the pintxos lined bars is my type of vibe. This place is actually the perfect place to travel alone because it's so easy to meet people whilst you're all just lined up at a bar eating and drinking. Also it would be pretty hard to get lost. San seb was a little more the expensive side but you get what you pay for at least. Try the potato's from Bar Ciaboga and the hottest tip of them all - must try the cheese cake from La Vina...
